Robert Romano
Partner @Locke Lord LLP
Robert is a Partner who practices in insurance regulatory, corporate and international matters in the New York office of Locke Lord LLP. He has assisted clients in the sale and corporate financing of insurance companies, including reorganizations of multinational financial services organizations and off-shore captives. He has spoken and written extensively on the subject of insurer restructurings, both insurance business transfers (IBTs) and division statutes, and on the US aspects of Part VII Transfers of insurance portfolios under UK law.
Stephen DiCenso
Principal and Consulting Actuary @Milliman
Steve has enjoyed a multifaceted property and casualty actuarial career, with most of his experience in the commercial alternative markets. With Milliman, he has focused on serving captives, runoff carriers, large self-insured corporations, mid-sized insurers, public entity risk pools, and state regulators. This includes reserving, pricing, surplus management, cost allocation, risk-focused financial examination work, due diligence, financial modeling, and risk financing. He also consulted for seven years with a major accounting firm, primarily performing loss reserving for larger insurance and reinsurance companies.
Mike Walker
Head of Legacy Operations @Randall & Quilter
Mike joined Randall & Quilter Investment Holdings Ltd. (R&Q) in October 2019 following a 32-year career with KPMG in the UK, 15 of those as a Partner. He is currently Group Head of Legacy, a role which includes responsibility for the global Legacy operation, Part VII transfers and Insurance Business Transfers, Claims Management and Reinsurance Management.
